1 Introduction

Operational research and optimization Institute (IODA) is a school level Research Institute of Liaoning Technical University.

The Research Institute focuses on scientific research in operational research, mathematics, statistics, decision science and other research fields and related cross fields. These research fields are closely related to the development and application of big data, machine learning and artificial intelligence. They are the basic fields of data science and the driving force for the growth of digital technology in the future.

The research institute undertakes the personnel training of doctoral students in management science and engineering, and is committed to cultivating excellent doctoral students. After graduation, it has the ability to teach in Colleges and universities or enter advanced R & D laboratories in the industry.

The main research fields of the Institute are optimization theory and method, machine learning and data analysis, decision analysis and application, etc.
