ABOUT ICM
International Congress of Mathematicians (ICM) is the most significant meeting in pure and applied mathematics, and one of the oldest scientific congresses. The first ICM took place in Zurich, Switzerland, in 1897. ICMs are organized every 4 years by the International Mathematical Union in partnership with organizers from the host country. The overall structure of the ICM is determined by the Structure and the Program Committees of the ICM, as described on following IMU web page.
